Join us in celebrating the third mural unveiling of our Summer of Solidarity program on Saturday, September 30th in Valley Mall, El Monte. This mural was created in partnership with Supervisor Solis' office, El Monte's Mayor's office and CHIRLA. The mural was designed by Kiara Machado, a Latine contemporary artist based out of Los Angeles, who depicts and explores the structures and liberation of identity, femininity, and culture in her work.

The unveiling and dedication ceremony will include speakers and several performances. The community is invited to enjoy family-friendly activities, food, and more.
