LA vs Hate Black Community Mural Unveiling

  • Willowbrook Senior Center 12915 Jarvis Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90061 United States (map)

Join us in celebrating the fifth and final mural unveiling of our Summer of Solidarity program on Saturday, November 11th at the Willowbrook Senior Center. This mural was created in partnership with Willowbrook Inclusion Network, Brotherhood Crusade and LA Commons. The mural was designed by Brittney Price, a South LA based visual artist and muralist specializing in impactful visual commentary of current events. Brittney's intent is to uplift, celebrate and teach her community using art as a vessel.

The unveiling and dedication ceremony will include speakers and several cultural performances. Being the last mural unveiling of the program, we will also be showcasing replicas of the other community murals that were previously unveiled for the Jewish, LGBTQ, Latine and Indigenous communities of Los Angeles County.

The community is invited to enjoy family-friendly activities, food, and giveaways.
