Be the Change: Artist-Inspired Activism

Hosted by the Skirball Cultural Center

Expanding on themes addressed in Be the Change:  A Jewishly Inspired Public Art Movement, our panelists will engage in a conversation about the meaning of tzedakah, the definition of “artivism,” the importance of community organizing, and the ways in which artists reflect the world around them and inspire others to be a force for good.

Panelists represent the organizations and artists who have partnered with the Skirball to design one of six outdoor sculptures as part of Be the Change, now on view at Plummer Park in West Hollywood.
